Why FormWit exists
I'm Mohan, the founder of FormWit. I've been building software for 20 years across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and product. I've shipped code at startups and large companies, always gravitating toward tools that solve real problems with minimal complexity.
The idea for FormWit came from a familiar frustration. Every time I built a static site for a client or side project, I hit the same wall: the contact form. Static hosts don't process form submissions. My options were to spin up a backend just for one endpoint, use a service that charged $10+/month for a handful of submissions, or rig together a serverless function with email sending.
None of those felt right. I wanted something that took 60 seconds to set up, cost nothing for small sites, and didn't require maintaining infrastructure. So I built it.
